Overall Satisfaction with Cisco UCS Series
UCS series is used mostly because of density and efficient design suitable for VMware virtualization environment.
We use it for more than half of our private cloud hypervisor compute needs at this time.
Things I really like about the system - once you get the hang of it you can deploy full environment very quickly with minimal manual effort. its also convenient to have portable profiles, especially if you run business critical applications on physical hardware (without virtualization involved) as it allows you to swap damaged host in a matter of seconds if you are quick enough :)

- Deployment speed
- Space saving
- UCS manager-> blades network simplification
- We ran into issues with limited VLANs that can be configured in the UCS manager system, I heard that it being addressed i the new series using Intersite though apart from that solution has been solid.
- Cisco UCS systems served is still serves us well for quite some time now, causing no undue issues and allowing us to focus our efforts where they are needed most
Best example that I can think of speeding up organization agility would be the ease of deployment of whole compute pods. Once you setup your UCS manager profiles, policies and things like Ip pools - you can deploy whole pod with attached media profiles or PXE infrastructure really quickly. Never before have I though that building out 160 servers a day would be normal
our organization had no issues whatsoever with UCS series initial configuration and updates going forward as some day 2 actions required
