Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp to monitor team members workload and to track progress on projects.
ClickUp is used to assign tasks to team members, to communicate via Comment section, see status of tasks, to see expected workload and planned projects.
Use automations heavily to automate some of the processes.
Our teams work on projects which varies in size and complexity. Users track time spent on projects, while managers oversee project progress using available ClickUp views.

- good UI/UX
- automations are very helpful
- ability to communicate via Comments
- ability to provide all required information for given project within ClickUp without needing to rely on emails
- real time overview of progress shared with all Watchers and Assignees
- Automations can be improved - more functionality, better conditional "programming" of automations
- ability to auto archive tasks after some time they are in Completed stage
- sometimes automations does not work even they are correctly set up
- if more users are assigned to one task and estimated time is set, then in workload view this is not recognized (every user have their time calculated on total time estimated for task). I would rather to see total time of task to be divided to all assigned users - at least have a option to enable this behavior
- Time estimation for task does not work with time estimations for subtask in given parent task. I would like to see option where I can enable to have total estimated time of parent task to be calculated by suming up all times estimated for all subtask in given parent task.
- I would say we did not save money by using ClickUp, but we definitely gained better overview of work being done within our teams and by our team members.
So far we have implemented ClickUp in only one part of our organization. Within the team it helped us to see what is being done and by whom. To see the planned schedule and allocate resources accordingly. We would like to expand ClickUp to more departments, but it would take some time.
I would say ClickUp is currently used as more of a tracking tool. It does not help us simplify the productivity process.
