With Cool Tabs, its good to view how our leads from social media and our website convert. Anyone can tell you how important click-through rate is and this tool shows us how effective our marketing is to convert customers to possible leads and opportunities for our agents. It works great on running promotions as well.
- Analytics on insights from customer attributes.
- Good keyword search on customers.
- Identifying hashtags being used by customers.
- Interface is a bit difficult.
- Management if the tool is not intuitive.
- More filters for analyzing would be great specifically in the demographics region.
5 - All of our marketing department use this. They manage our direct marketing campaigns, such as email. The tool doesn't directly interact with our email service provider, but we can get customer lists from Cool Tabs and put them in the provider. Communications also use the tool for targeting performance by demographics.

Mailchimp had more features with email, but we already had an email service provider. It helped us lower the cost greatly. With companies that don't have an ESP, maybe Mailchimp would work out, but if there already is one, I don't think there is a need. Also, conversation tracking is more present in Cool Tabs.
