Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
We use Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT primarily for reporting. We still use our hosted version to do most of the heavy lifting of posting and importing because of the limited functionality of Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. As the functionality of Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT increases for data input and analytics, we are expanding our usage of the Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT solution.

- We appreciate the true fund accounting so we can manage by projects.
- I really like the ease of ad-hoc reporting.
- It provides good data integrity.
- I find there are multiple ways to find the same data through integration of modules.
- While we have increased in business volume and we have not needed to add fiscal staff.
They seem to be ahead right now. But, in my opinion, Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT seems to be catching up. Sage Intacct has built-in dashboard and analysis tools to make visualization easier for view only licensed directors to track their progress and outcomes. Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT has always been very careful to fully test new advancements in their software before adding them to a general revision. This keeps the system from fixing something in one place that breaks something somewhere else.
