Overall Satisfaction with GoodData
It is being used for external analytics for lender clients
Exposing our analytics to end users, providing aggregate data
- Partitioning data by client id
- Managing releases
- Intuitive drag and drop UI
- Data modeling and needing separate gooddata schema (table prefixes)
- Many manual steps that are hard to remember when setting up LCM/adding new clients etc
- No ability to perform left joins - results in unintuitive experience
- It has probably had more of a negative impact as there are certain quirks that are hard to understand for end users (no ability to left join - records dissapear)
- Positive has been giving the lenders ability to create custom reports which they like
I was not involved with the initial implementation, but from what I can tell it is easy to get workspaces up and running
Snowflake - this is the underlying database we use for reporting
