Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot is being used both for our Sales and Marketing Teams with Coval Homes in Washington State.
Our Finance, Construction, and Pre-Construction Teams are continuing to use another CRM (Buildertrend) designed for the construction industry specifically. That's all well and good, however, HubSpot was exactly what we needed for Sales and Marketing.
Using the original CRM, our Sales Team, in particular, was extremely limited for years and Marketing essentially didn't exist in our company.
For over a year now, HubSpot has allowed our Sales Team to become increasingly efficient and has greatly boosted our Marketing Team.
For myself personally, I know that I would not be able to accomplish my job's demands without HubSpot's tools. THANK YOU.
  • Email Logging & Tracking = Being able to know who and when is paying attention means you will better understand your clients, their needs, their seriousness, etc.
  • Templates & Snippets = All of us send email responses to clients that are often the same or similar in wording. Also, we often just need to share contact info to people. Templates & Snippets allow you to record and reuse prewritten texts and they can be automated to input clients' names right there. Huge time savings!
  • Sequences = For me personally, Sequences have been the secret sauce of my follow-up game. Prebuilt sequences of emails and reminders have essentially guaranteed that I WILL get in touch with every new customer coming and have greatly increased the odds that I will also get in touch with anyone else in time. Set the sequence and watch automatic follow-ups go through. Again, huge time saver!
  • Workflows = Save an immense time in data entry, customer service items, report building, taking notes, etc. Workflows automate things to save you time and they work.
  • Lists = Sounds simple but it's not. The Lists features an unbelievably complex tracking system allowing you to actively find nearly any criteria of person in your Pipeline. I use this Lists tool in Workflows, Records, Contact Tracking, and much more.
  • HubSpot Mobile App = I love it but I wish it was closer in look and functionality to the desktop version. Key examples are the customer contact page involving PROPERTIES. Our HubSpot Contact Records bar has tons of custom created properties. However, the mobile app lists all properties alphabetically instead of mirroring the way it is organized on our computers.
  • Sales Documents = Sometimes customers leave or express that they no longer are interested and yet they continue to review Documents. It would be preferred if we could BLOCK specific people from viewing specific forms when these cases come up especially if those Documents are contracts we do not want everyone to be able to see.
  • Success with Initial Contact has gone up without question. We immediately get in touch with virtually every client we follow up with.
  • Average Meetings Booked has greatly increased thanks to the Meetings tool. I'm able to book meetings literally in my sleep.
  • Decreased Sales data entries have gone down significantly. Thanks to HubSpot, we simply spend way less time manually inputting things and more time selling.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Online Reviews are certainly way up. Nearly half of our online reviews are all from the last 18 months and I think HubSpot had a role in that positive customer response.
Some folks are not suited for any technology so it can be hard to distinguish if that is their problem or a CRM's problem.
I would say HubSpot is the most user-friendly CRM that I have personally used. However, there are a few people that have had some issues on occasion. Nothing substantive really, just a question would arise and be sorted out quickly.
For Sales and Marketing, HubSpot absolutely blows them out of the water. Buildertrend is fantastic for Construction specific jobs but for the initial outreach before converting someone into a customer, HubSpot was the clear winner.

Buildertrend, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
After over a year of intense work on HubSpot, I believe that virtually anyone in Sales, Consulting, Marketing, Website integration, Customer Service, etc. would benefit greatly from HubSpot's massive array of tools.
An example of someone not suited would be our Construction Team where another CRM like Buildertrend is DESIGNED for construction work.
