Overall Satisfaction with iCIMS Talent Acquisition Software Suite

Icims is our current ATS. This system is used across the country by our recruiting team and hiring managers.
  • Overall, it is pretty self explanatory. Which makes it easier when you have users across the country, beginners to advanced. Moving the candidate from one "bin" to another does make sense. You can move candidates individually or in groups, which speeds your time.
  • The communicating piece - creating and editing templates to use in mass emails is easy.
  • The ability to create specific job related questions for each individual position is helpful.
  • The search capabilities needs some work. It is not user friendly at all. You want to be able to "pipeline" and this system hasn't developed something that makes sense or is easy to navigate. This is there biggest area to work on.
  • I think with any application, it is a long process. However, the system stores the applications. Therefore, it is a quicker for the applicant when they return to apply to another position.
  • On the reporting side, Able to track how candidates hear about the position, time to fill, req's per recruiter, EEO, etc. The reporting information is quite extensive and helpful when looking at the overall picture.
Used Taleo many years ago. Unfair to compare only because each company designed there system to meet the company needs. You can way over think the structure of the dashboard and I recommend not doing that.
Search capabilities! Depending on the size of the organization using this system, that may not be a huge factor. However, nationwide, large corporations, this could be a pain point.

  • Working within the individual req, moving candidates from bin to bin and dispositioning accordingly.
  • Searching capabilities - not easy to navigate - a lot of clicking around to try and figure out what you are trying to search - not user friendly at all
Yes - still in development stages
Really would like to have that search capability working. A way to pipeline candidates.
