Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is used for audio calls both internally and publicly (PSTN); group meetings with audio/video/screen-sharing; chatting with contacts; and team file access.
- Audio calls both internally and publicly (PSTN)
- Group meetings with audio/video/screen-sharing
- Chatting with contacts
- Providing present status of team members so that you know if colleagues are available or busy
- Providing call health settings to identify the round trip time and percentage of received packet loss
- Multi-organization account access is poor because it requires logging out in order to switch accounts
- Lacking presence status and file access to account that one is no longer logged in to
- Add ability to import a customized avatar
- Use of Microsoft Teams has enabled team productivity while working remotely
- It has replaced the need for a physical phone
- It needs to improve multiple organization access so that one can be simultaneously logged into all accounts
- Zoom
The most noticeable thing that Microsoft Teams offers and Zoom lacks is providing the history of meeting chats. If you join a Zoom meeting late, you don't get any of the chat info (e.g. shared messages, files, contact info, weblinks) that were sent prior to you joining. With Microsoft Teams, all the previous chats are available.
