Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
We've been using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise along with Xero for our clients. Some of our clients do have their books in Quickbooks so it's faster and easier to provide services with them while we're using the service. Also, this helps them understand the books more since they're familiar with the interface of what they are using.

- Training Materials for certification and getting to know the product and how to use it!
- Updates(Bugs Desktop)
- Support(While it is fairly helpful, sometimes Support provides little or delayed response)
- Complicated at first
- QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has greatly helped the company since there are a lot of us in the workplace and the plan package provides a lot of users to use the program.
- Permissions Restriction since we're dealing with confidential data, we make sure that not everyone is authorized and has access to specific files and documents of each of our clients. Only assigned employees who coordinates to each of our clients.
- Certification. For starters, we urge our team to take on the certification program of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. This way, not only they will be familiar with the program, they will also have a record to keep for themselves(accomplishment/Certificate)
Since we're dealing with lots of clients, it's been no issue for us to add team members to take on our new incoming clients since we do have alot of user seats and no need for changing plans that may affect everything in it. Also, it's been great to talk with Support in the inquiries of adding more seats beyond our current maximum.
Training was great! New people get to learn new things with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, advanced people get to refresh their knowledge with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise! It's very easy to setup just make sure that everyone who's going to use it takes the certification training first since that's what we strongly suggest and include in our step by step onboarding plan.
When you have clients assigned on your end, you'll see the reporting in your dashboard which gives you an overview on what would the client need and what would the client could take as options. Moreover, since we also provide consultations, these charts help us to provide visual aids to the clients when presenting.
There were instances that clients do provide their books with using Xero and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. When we export data from each other, they do compliment with the data and it's not far from analyzing each of them to see any difference from each sheets. You may need to make sure that you export the only specific data that you need from each so you can compare and use them together efficiently.
