Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

I am very satisfied with the features obtained with Rippling, it is a modern platform that is always in constant improvement and adding useful features to conduct an effective management of the employee database. From the IT Perspective, I can confirm it is easy to understand and integrate with other 3rd party platforms such as Google Workspace, for this specific application Rippling has facilitated the automation of Onboarding & Offboarding which has helped us a lot in maintaining a balanced workload within the IT Team. It also provides me with a strong Reporting tool to extract and analyze valuable data for critical business decision-making.

The interactions with the support team I've had so far have been superb always with a fast response time and adequate resolution with the issues at hand.
  • Integrate with 3rd party platforms (They have an extensive Marketplace for additional apps)
  • Efficient and easy to set up automations.
  • Great workflow design, easy to understand and implement.
  • Some additional modules tend to be pricey
  • I don't see the value in certain IT specific modules like inventory management, which I would like to have the chance to manage within a single platform such as Rippling however, I've had to resort to other vendors.
  • Limited support with 3rd party integrations.
  • With the several processes automated by Rippling we have been able to continue scaling and growing without the need of hiring continuous IT Technicians to keep up with several of our Onboarding and offboarding tasks.
  • When the Rippling integration fails with our IdP (Google Workspace) we have had down-time in our operations, which is not great.
  • Rippling is a definite tool require to conduct the management of over 1,000 employees with a limited HR team, it is only possible due to the facilities provided by Rippling.
The support provides adequate answers as long as you are able to properly outline a detailed problem statement (So you have to be an experienced user), from my experience, I believe Rippling should have a way to contact them faster such as a live chat or call availability (at least for 1,000+ employees clients) instead of just email and also they working hours being limited to Monday-Friday are not great.

I've personally encountered a problem on a Friday night that ended up affective a business-critical operation and could not get it resolved until the next Monday, that was certainly not a great weekend.

I believe Rippling is definitely a flexible platform that you can use with every type or organization regardless of the business they conduct. Both if you have a tech-knowledgable team to manage it and increase the potential of the tool, it is also easy enough to use for non-tech users and still find valuable usage from it.
Rippling has been well suited with the automation of our Onboarding and Offboarding process as these are tasks that usually take up a lot of man-hours to be conducted and always open the door to human error, with Rippling a great experience is almost guaranteed both for the HR team and the new hires joining the company as they are able to set up everything on their own. For the offboarding process, it helps us immediately restrict access to the organization's data and keeps us compliant with several of our security certifications.

For the scenarios where it is less appropriate, I can say that the IT Management module is certainly not for every organization, the automatization of equipment procurement it not great as they work with an specific vendor, and for example, the pricing of equipment tends to be non-negotiable which is something we can always workout with vendors we procure on our own.
