Overall Satisfaction with Skype
My current company is very small, only a few employees. It's a startup, where everyone works from a different locations. Skype is used for quick calls and conference calls between employees.
- Quick video chat to work on a product
- Screenshare option.
- Available on range of devices and platforms
- Less people using Skype, make something to attract more people
- Some UI improvements, some of the new chat/video chat apps look better
- It's free for small groups of users, perfect for small startups
- Rakuten Viber and Dialpad Meetings (formerly UberConference)
When trying to video chat using other apps, and the call is breaking, after switching to Skype, usually the call/video quality is better.
In comparison to UnerConference, uberconference has web client (no need to install software). Also has conference rooms, where you can log in, and see if someone joined already. However Skype has much better video quality than UberConference
