Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UKG Ready is our HRIS; we use it for payroll, timekeeping, benefits and as our HR System of Record for an organization of 2700 employees over 170+ locations.

Being able to change file feeds requires a level of technical expertise that not every organization has available to them, and can get pricey
It would be great to have a simplified version of the software that almost acts as a "beginner" platform for organizations that aren't as robust as some of the other more corporate organizations out there
Security access for various levels of employees can get dicey if you don't have exactly the right boxes checked.

Return on Investment

This is basic, but we finally know how many employees we have! It sounds ridiculous, but prior to UKG Ready we were on a payroll system that's reports were only as accurate as the last payroll cycle, so they were always 2 weeks behind and static. UKG Ready allows for realtime, daily reporting of information.
We are able to get salary data for our various locations to be able to compare them to each other, as well as across our "competitors" and external competition.
The data provided allows us to be able to understand the trends at individual locations including attrition, advancement, raise information, and other data points that we haven't historically done comparisons on
We can see the demographic and geographical information for our employees and the benefits that they elect

It is very user friendly; I don't think we use it to the fullest capability though because we don't have someone who is solely dedicated to knowing the ins and outs of the system in a way that we are able to then share that with our various levels of users. I would love to have the ability to do more "train the trainer" types of learning for my staff to then be able to share that information with the greater locations and employees.

UKG Ready provides good tools, but if there were trainings for those advanced users to then be able to train their own internal resources (train-the-trainer resources) that would be great.

UKG Personal Experience

Being able to pull demographic reports when I am working with a location is wonderful; I've been able to get historical data out of the system to help craft and shape decisions being made on employment matters, and allow for better decision making at the highest level.

Alternatives Considered

We were down to Ultimate and Kronos when we chose Kronos; we chose it because of the timekeeping system, but Ultimate was a close second with a lot of functionality we really liked. I was very happy when they merged.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's amazing for providing data to a location; especially when that data hasn't been available to get before. The reporting ability is phenomenal; some more tutorials on how to get that data out of the system would be wonderful.

The user experience is really good - it is something that almost any level of user can easily access and comprehend. It seems to meet users where they are from an intuitive level.
