Synology Active Backup Suite vs. IBM Storage for Red Hat OpenShift

Synology Active Backup Suite is well suited for machines running in the same network due to the setup being easier config as well as the network transmission speed. Through the internet is also possible to make a backup but you would be limited to the internet upload speed of your ISP. I believe it is less appropriate to complex networks with several jumps due to configuration.

This product performance has been creating positive impact on the growth of our company. I can highly recommend to any company that is struggling to find data storage platform. Since we deployed this tool our data is always secure and our files have the most reliable storage tools. Server storage services from IBM portfolio have been great and we have never failed in any day in data transmission from various sources.

• intuitive UI for both managing backups and restore jobs.
• Compression and deduplication, to reduce to storage needs and costs.
• Easy to install and setup backup agent on windows, linux and of course synology

• Can't think of any currently.

Synology Active Backup Suite is more user friendly than TrueNAS and setting up all the environment for a Raspberry Pi system, its plug and play makes all the setup less complicated and the configuration more manageable. While TrueNAS is a great enterprise solution with a great community and Raspberry PI is complete open source and do it yourself, Synology Active Backup Suite offers the best of both worlds with and easy to use and upgrade with enterprise and small business options.

I have not worked with such powerful data storage platform in our organization. This platform has provided us with the most basic storage platform that has enhanced reliable momentum on data management. All our workloads are always under safe environment in this platform and customization of storage disks have been done effectively. IBM Storage for Red Hat OpenShift has met all our cloud storage demands and we are proud of its services.

• No monthly or recuring costs due to no subscription or cloud fees
• Easy to use and installation, doesn’t require outside consultations or experts to install and setup.
