Some of the benefits of Google fit for your organization: Quickly shows you how many steps you have taken each day, tracks your heart rate every 10 minutes, throughout the day gives you an accurate picture of where you have been on a map, for the whole day gives you accurate …
I would recommend it as a tool to use in addition to other fitness/health tracking tools. I use other health apps as well (C25K, LoseIt, SleepIQ, Nike Run Club). I'd say its a tool among tools - not the end all be all tool. I do think the Apple Health Ecosystem (Apple Watch, iPhone) is unmatched.
Scenario 1: If you're interested in personal and organizational fitness and wellness, Google Fit will improve your daily routine. Scenario 2: If [you're] not interested in improving the well-being of your team, this would not work for you.
I'd like see more robust tracking of foods/diet - this is a personal request - not necessarily driven by work issues, but calorie tracking would be a nice addition.
I find the "summary screen" to be convoluted and not compatible between other Apple Health Users - this is mainly due to differences in generations of Apple hardware.
I'd like to see a universal comparison of days for all metrics (Active Energy, Steps, Calories burned etc.
I've used Garmin and Fitbit - admittedly it's been a long time and those were early generations of a product - but the Apple Health devices that are available in todays climate are far superior to those initial devices that served very limited roles (only steps tracking). The heart rate monitoring/active energy calculations/etc all blow those early devices out of the water.
Some benefits of Google which apply to your business are including: Integrates easily with other apps like Samsung Wellness and quickly shows the number of steps you have taken each day. Also, it records your pulse rate every 10 minutes, shows you where you have been throughout the day on a map, and provides accurate step counts, distances, and caloric content at the touch of a button. Because it offers all of this for free, Google Fit is fantastic.
Healthy staff are more productive and can do more which has an impact on [the] ROI of business.
Google fit can be configured to track how much weight is lost each day, the total weight [loss] to date, and an estimate of how much weight still needs to be lost, physically fit employees are an asset to [the] organisation. This would benefit ROI, more active physically, more active on the job.
