Bubble (bubble.io) is a no code app development platform from the Bubble Group in New York.
The main strength of AppMaster.io in comparison to Bubble is its more vivid and logical data models and business logic design. Thus, AppMaster helps better understanding the overall logic as well as specific details of the projects being developed.
These alternatives have some of the things we need - like API endpoints and/or offline deployment, but for us, AppMaster.io turned out to be a single pill for all our pains. We've built 2 apps and 3 dashboards all connected to the same database and over 23 business scenarios …
Best suited for complex apps with different business flows that you have to join in one product. Also perfect for enterprise apps with a single backend but different types of users (like clients and account managers). The built-in deployment options let you run your app offline, which is great for highly secure apps with sensitive data. Also good if you need API integrations - docs are ready-made and there're many pre-set modules. As for less appropriate scenarios - AppMaster.io maybe be too rich for simple single-button apps, but once you move past the entrance threshold, simple apps are just several minutes away with AppMaster.io.
I recommend using Bubble.io for most web applications, including SaaS platforms, marketplaces, e-commerce, social media platforms and much more. While Bubble.io does a lot well, it could do a better job at processing/creating data faster. So if you have a heavily intensive application where you need to create and pass around millions of rows of data in short amounts of time, it might be worth looking at other backend systems to use.
Wide functionality allows you to implement complex projects. The server back-end is very easy to communicate with applications. And there are a lot of additional integration modules with external services.
