AppTweak vs. LSEG Eikon

It is the best tool to understand the potential volume of keywords in the market and track your keywords ranking and competitors' keywords ranking. It is not so good for market research as downloads and revenue, but the company is working on it with their Market Intelligence tool. I tried it but didn't explore it fully.

Very likely to recommend to a colleague if he deals with researching companies on a day-to-day basis since it captures real-time market data, financial information such as income statements and balance sheet items, as well as news items around strategic updates and analyst reports from top investment banks.

• ESG ratings - allowing us to benchmark practices and reporting.
• Real time market data - allowing us to track target companies.
• Financial information - allows us to gauge companies' historical and forecasted performance.

• The ranking history graph isn't that great looking
• Our data is also tracked by competitors using this tool.
• Pricing of the tool can be worked upon as its costly.

• Not very easy to navigate - needs user to spend time.
• Should have an intelligent search option to enable targeted search.

I prefer AppTweak with simple UI and accurate estimates for keywords, and easy navigation, and it fulfills all my expectations.

Refinitiv Eikon is a wholesome product that scores over the above products in terms of the coverage universe, features, and credibility of data Refinitiv Eikon is a go-to source for financial and ESG data, whose credibility is well established in the industry and scores above other competitors in this aspect.

• Negative - Tool is pricey so not everybody can afford.
• Positive - Coverage of real time market data is unmatched.
• Positive - ESG data coverage is very useful.
