Read full review CloudfloorDNS is a great product, particularly if you want a reliable DNS service without breaking the bank. They support all the standard record types (A, CNAME, NS, MX, etc.) Very easy to use. They also have a way to roll back changes in case something unexpected happens. I would say if you have a small IT department and need DNS to just be a utility that you never have to think about, this is a good product for you.
Read full review Pros The Azure Private DNS has an option for automatic mapping which creates a DNS record automatically for all the resources in a particular Vnet, and adds new DNS entries for whenever a new resource is created. The DNS entries can be shared between different VNets automatically and there is no need for manually populating it or syncing it with different networks. The mapping or records is very easy as the target/source/backend is automatically populated and there is no need to keep those IP addresses handy instead you can map them using their name. The price is fair for the service, while the customer success team and engineers know what they are doing, making the entire process smooth and comfortable. Also, they are a big and known brand, which makes us more at ease with our choice
Read full review They have all the same features and customer service without the price tag. We used Dyn as our DNS provider for over a decade. We continued after the acquisition by Oracle, but decided to save a few bucks.
Read full review Return on Investment since Azure DNS belongs to Azure Cloud environment, there is no positive impact since Azure DNS belongs to Azure Cloud environment, there is no negative impact there would be a negative impact if Azure DNS would be missing Read full review It takes one more thing of our list of things to manage; once it's working, we can focus on more important things I have received calls letting me know that we might be experiencing a DDoS attack; they had already remediated the threat by throttling the traffic from that source back so it did not overwhelm resources. Had that not been sufficient, they were already ready to spin up additional virtual servers to offload some overhead and make sure that we were not impacted by the situation. They continued monitoring until things were back to normal and followed up with a call to discuss. Very good service. Read full review ScreenShots
