It does exactly what it needs to do. If there is another MSP that needs a set-it-and-forget-it box they can deploy on client sites, I would recommend this box, especially if they are already using other Datto products such as Datto RMM, as it all integrates with the same portal.

• It can be sometimes complicated to change the settings.
• They make it very difficult to migrate the backups.

If I wanted to use just onsite storage the StorSimple device is already paid for.

The webui is intuitive and well-organized. If you need any help, the online chat is quick to respond.

Slide BCDR, which is not listed. The slide is much simpler, and I found the alerts and alert clearing to be much more effective than Datto. It takes far fewer clicks in the slide interface to do what I need. Slide support is a little bit worse than Datto as it has no live chat

• The only negative was that when trying to migrate to another BCDR solution, they were not helpful in recovering the data.
