I think there are probably some camps that this is good software for, but we found mostly limitations, and we found that the complexity of the applications, the lack of a clear dashboard, and how clunky reporting was too frustrating. The communication systems were also lacking, without real time email confirmations and very limited design options (not even allowed to paste content into an email form!).

It is not intuitive. It has many features, but finding and using them is hard. Even when you login, the search tool requires such specificity in format and spelling that it is just not easy to use. Finding reports and walking through the creation of them was a pain - I would find myself (and see other staff), walk through all the steps of setting up a report, running it, and then no content would come out, and we'd have to start over and figure out where we went wrong. IT wasn't clear and intuitive.

I ended up being frustrated by almost all of them. CampWise's pricing model is good and it is less expensive, but walking through demos and use cases for all of them, none of them could get closer than 80% of our need. So we eventually abandoned the search and built our own platform: campcore.
