Cost per page is a lot better than the Pixma Pro. You can purchase replacement parts for the HP more easily if something is to break after warranty. The cost of ownership is lower than the Pixma Pro due to the Pixma Pro being a throw away if something was to break on it.
A daily workhorse that will print and print and print , it is easy on the wallet for ink cartridges and its dead easy to swap out a new cartridge when one runs out. But you get good milegae out of a cartridge and unless you are printing high quality colour photos, the cartridges will last a long time. For its price it packs a punch that a lot of more expensive printers cannot even get close to. I would recommend it to anyone and have done!! A+ 5 stars!!
Well suited for a company with low to medium-duty print needs, or for a company that isn't ready to lease or purchase a commercial copier. Not well suited for a company that prints a lot of pages in a month, or for a company that only wants to purchase one model of toner, because they are not very interchangeable.
I mainly print in black and find it incredibly wasteful that the printer just seeps the other coloured ink covers and requires these to be replaced even when I am only printing black. But all printer manufacturers do this, but there must be a better way.
look, its just a great product!! Does what it says it will, with very little fuss and minimal set up. Highly modular and functional. Can be adjusted to meet numerous demands and never complains. it is an absolute workhorse
Canon PIXMA-PRO model is much slicker and easier to integrate into my system, works flawlessly with minimal care or upkeep required. And its cheap for ink cartridges and has the extra large black cartridge which allows you to print and print, much longer than most other printers, without needing to switch out or replace the cartridges
