CertifyMe Credentials vs. SkillSurvey, now part of the iCIMS Talent Cloud

It's the best thing that happened to our self-marketing! The embedded functionalities and cross-help for graphic templates are so time-saving, who'd have thought this? I'm saving all this time explaining to an external designer what I need and then waiting for suggestions that I don't like. It was a tedious process I had to go through before I discovered this service, that's why I truly appreciate it.

SkillSurvey really is great for reference checks and how to communicate with the contacts provided. It's a great way to easy view the reports, ensure that someone is not filling out their own reference information, and being able to contact passive candidates that have interest in your organization. The templates are easy to generate once you use them a couple times.

• It is very easy to use, so we don't have to spend time training others how to process reference checks.
• SkillSurvey seems to gather many more responses than other vendors used. This is great because it stops us from having to physically call additional references.
• We're able to gather leads from the references who complete the link and opt to be contacted by a recruiter. In the HR/recruitment world, this is seen as free leads!

I don't resonate with the other suppliers. First of all their brand name makes me associate them with a toy rather than serious business. Secondly, when a client showed me her LinkedIn profile and I saw her credentials produced by this other company I was thinking, how lucky I am with CertifyMe. Call this subjective, I can only give you my impression.

• Will come back later with this part, but it's incredibly promising!
• Credibility building amongst competitors.
• Feeling of security for our clients.

• We're able to collect more references, which allows us to clear candidates to start their jobs quicker.
• The additional leads collected are sent to recruiters who are then able to have more candidates to reach out to for potential future employment.
