Cisco Compute Hyperconverged with Nutanix vs. IBM Cloud Private

Great solution that provides latest of Cisco UCS servers, Cisco Intersight and Nutanix software integration.

Effective for VMware Stack to build VMs with vCenter and moving VMs live using vMotion.

Equally effective with Kubernetics and KLS work load

Easy to add more capacity

Power footprint could be a limitation for advance AI and ML workloads.

• Capacity On Demand to scale up and down environments
• SaaS model allows our team to have less involvement in managing or controlling the underlying cloud infrastructure including network, servers, operating systems, storage, or even individual application capabilities.
• SaaS model allows our team to worry less about upgrades, fix packs, environment support etc.

• solution with two different companies - support could improve

• Bluemix/IBM Cloud UI can be better

I gave Cisco Compute Hyperconverged with Nutanix this usability rating because, in my opinion, Cisco Compute Hyperconverged with Nutanix is simple but still have room for improvements

It is much better , faster and created for high availability work loads that are dynamic to deploy and grow based on need and business demand.

We have use vSAN deployed prior to this new solution, and we prefer Cisco solution by a large margin to accommodate our growing requirements.

We are always watching other products and keeping ahead of the technology.

With VMware cloud, each VMware Cloud customer must have an SDDC account(VMC) as well as a general AWS account. The two accounts must be linked for the service to work which is a tiresome thing to do for some clients but with IBM Cloud Private all these issues are solved.

• We had a positive ROI as the bundle pricing of HW+SW was at par or slightly lesser than what we were already incurring with our legacy solution
