CJ Affiliate vs. Travelpayouts

CJ would be a great place for any publisher looking to monetize their blog or social media accounts. Products that have broad targeting or rely on bargain hunters would perform really well as there are tons of coupon sites and fashion blogs. Niche products would have a harder time growing as they would probably still need to do a lot of outreach.

Travelpayouts is well suited for any type of blogger, regardless of the industry they are in. Be it the travel niche or not, if you have a blog already, then why start monetizing your work with affiliate partner programs? Travelpayouts is the quickest way to receive revenue from something that you are already doing.

• It would be great to see more opportunities to test out products or services by the affiliate partner programs offered on Travelpayouts. This can help build more loyalty to the brand and allow affiliate partners to speak better about the product or service offered.

CJ definitely has the largest pool of publishers and is well built out in terms of features. However, it does appear that they have a lot of dead weight in their pool which is something that their competitors claim they have solved. We ultimately selected CJ because we had previous experience with the platform and wanted to tap into their affiliate pool.

Compared to Amazon Associates, I found Travelpayouts far easier to use and apply when I started working with affiliate partner programs. It was quick to join multiple travel programs and add affiliate tools such as links, widgets, and banners to the content I was writing in my travel blog, which is why Travelpayouts has become my preferred digital partnership platform.
