Comodo Dome Antispam vs. Smarsh

Spams are getting
common for almost all companies either big or small so this tool is also
becoming a necessity for almost everyone. This tool has all the essentials to
protect the emails box from threats like spam filters, blacklists, and also
archive emails to ensure the availability of emails if there would occur any
mishap. and what makes it a bit unsuitable

is its expensive rates and support team.

This appliance is well suited for organizations that have a need to monitor, moderate, or log social networking site use or the use of any website. It is a very solid tool for any information security department to have at their disposal.

• Spam Filteration: it helps in filtering our junk and spam mails that can have any kind of ransomware or any other threat.
• Blacklist: Its blacklist feature is another great feature.
• Installation: We didn’t need any IT guy to help us in the implementation of this tool as it offers an easy installation.

• Discovery: It allows for easy discoveries by the compliance and cyber security departments.
• Ethical walls: This keeps certain departments from talking to each other.
• Very granular control. This is a big product meaning you can get very detailed with it.
• Once it's configured and running, we hardly ever have any issues.

• Expensive rate of its subscription.
• Its notification feature sometimes provides false alerts.
• To figure out the problem related to its notification we tried to reach out to its team but they didn’t even respond properly and took a lot of time.

• Its configuration options were very large and required a good deal of time to learn all of the various settings.

I had heard a lot about SpamTitan and this compelled me to
buy this product but I recognized that it was not worth the hype it was just an
overrated tool. It wasn’t having advanced features but was just following a
monotony. and other than that the Price was an issue. Although we are paying
high for Comodo too at least we are getting something in return but in the case
of Spam Titan, we were getting nothing so it was simply lost and Comodo is
totally a Win-win Situation for me and my company.

This was the only appliance of its kind that I have used. Other devices have different capabilities for web filtering such as the checkpoint firewalls, but none of them offered the overall solution that was deployed with this product at that time.
