DataSnipper vs. MetricStream Platform

DataSnipper stands out for its ease of use and the extensive knowledge available through DataSnipper Academy. The onboarding experience was fantastic, thanks to dedicated representatives who guided us through the process. Additionally, the support for the product was readily available, providing prompt responses and fixes whenever needed. This combination has made our experience seamless and efficient.

MetricStream is well suited for when you need to pull a report into Excel for further analysis. It is not good for when information needs to be entered as this is all done manually by analysts and managers. If we can implement a way to take parts of uploaded documents and have the system automatically enter the information in the designated fields in MetricStream, it would cut out lots of manual work for our department.

• Snip data from Tables into Excel Files
• Attach PDF files to excel as supporting documents to validate numbers on tax workpapers.

• Being able to use DataSnipper on other tools like MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
• Be better able to work with low resolution files
• Enable AI tools for better snipping and summarizing snipped data

• Missing functionality: Uploading documents (Excel sheets) into MetricStream and being able to pull information from that form into the program.

Archer is more risk-management-friendly in that it has a better interface and more room to conduct risk-related tasks and pull reports.
