Overall Satisfaction with DataSnipper

We have significantly reduced the time spent on repetitive tasks by leveraging DataSnipper. For instance, we utilized its OCR function to efficiently process PDF files. In many cases, this allowed us to easily extract tables and numbers, streamlining our workflow and enhancing productivity. This tool has proven invaluable in handling data extraction with minimal effort.

Pros

  • Extracted tables from PDF files.
  • Cross referencing allowed for easier review.
  • Auditors appreciated the workpapers that were produced.

Cons

  • Extremely large files may cause excel to freeze up
  • Odd search feature bug (infrequent) but thankfully a very easy fix (rotating the page)
  • Improved the review process.
  • Reduced potential mistyping by using the snip feature.
