DealCloud vs. Zinnia SmartOffice

DealCloud is excellent for tracking the relationship with a contact and how they've added value to the firm by helping with specific request. Where I think it could improve is in offering more modern, AI powered reporting; where AI can tap into available data to generate richer insights, such as a company's key highlights from the past six months

It is excellent for account opening, document aggregation and storage, tracking and correspondence. It is lacking in its interface and is often not intuitive or user friendly. I have had difficulty running specialized reports in the past and have had to call customer service for issues that should be easy to solve on one's own. There sometimes be a tremendous delay when interfacing with other programs like Microsoft Word.

• The interface could be more user friendly
• Some of its functionality is hard to use and/or hard to find
• There are alot of field that we do not use that do not appear to be able to be deleted
• It can sometimes be difficult to add new functionality

Its excellent for tracking the investment and portfolio Management Lifecycle. Its a platform that helps organize and centralized all information in on place, making it especially useful for reviewing everything done for a portfolio companies and identifying business opportunities with other companies. It also tracks contact interactions, which makes it easy to assess relationships strength and evaluate how valuable that connections has been to the firm. Overall, the platform is solid and functional, but there's always room for improvement, implementing internal AI capabilities would be a huge plus

While we have considered making a change we did not see the merit in considering any other companies. Additionally, the pricing is so attractive it is hard for other companies to compete for our business. At no point in the last 10 years have we seriously considered making a change
