Dryad vs. JFrog Connect vs. Telit IoT Platform

Dryad is well suited for situations where you are lacking data and or on the lookout for more interesting datasets to work with. It is also easy to read about how the authors collected the data and even provides a link to email them in case you need more information.

For us, it has been well suited for monitoring devices that are placed remotely and have no easy access to. Most of our devices are sent to customers which we have little or no contact with. Rather than the customers finding a problem, reporting it to us and then us investigating it. We can just be notified of the problem and deal with it without the customer realising.

If you need worldwide coverage with centralised management of SIM cards and services, then the Telit platform would be an excellent choice.

The website isn't as clean as that for Dryad and there seems to be less support for the end-user. However, it appears that they also have a large number of data repositories and have backing from many well-known universities. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and likability.

I haven't really found any other product or service which does the same as UpSwift, therefore I have not needed to look for alternative products

Telit is competitive on price but has a vastly better API and centralised management system than competitors. Other providers have better worldwide coverage and ability to swap networks.
