Dynamicweb vs. MERGADO

For small/medium organizations where non-professionals should work with the system in everyday situations, Dynamic Web is a good solutions. Works well on Mobile. Not very complicated to add new shops/add new countries to the solution. I have never used the headless functionalities but they should be well working, as I have heard. it should be very easy to implement with Business Central, but I have seen it being more complicated than expected.

I think MERGADO is ideal for e-shop owners. It can communicate in multiple languages, making it useful for international teams as well. I can imagine its applicability even when working concurrently with web programmers. In my experience, working in MERGADO requires at least some level of technical thinking and imagination. It won't tell you what to do; you need to have a goal, and MERGADO is simply a tool to help you achieve it.

• Good overview of progress of product enrichment with the built-in dashboard
• Easy enrichment both in the PIM and with upload of data in excel-sheet

• Design templates and way to build pages are not very intuitive and lack ease of use for non-professionals
• Layout of Dynamic Web sites are not the most sexy. But they work!

• For certain modifications, you need to take more steps
• MERGADO includes additional applications that you activate separately, although it would be great if I could enable their functions directly while editing the XML feed
