The difference between QuickBooksPOS and other software is that Intuit provides confidence at the moment you are using the software. QuickBooks has never crashed or given a sign of untruthful software. An important aspect to mention is that Intuit updates the software on a …
Chose QuickBooksPOS
QuickBooksPOS is the only desktop version of the type of program. The reporting is on a complete other level compared to these cloud technologies. Inventory and ingredient breakdowns are some things that you cannot find in a user-friendly system, which QuickBooksPOS does lack.

In my opinion, they are well suited to capturing your business from their competition. In my experience, they are unreachable one they sign your company as their merchant provider. In my experience, without any notice will increase their charges on transactions without notice. In my opinion, if there is a depute they will not go to bat for you.

QuickBooksPOS is an awesome tool for small businesses, the system is not that complex and it can be managed by non-tech associates. It comes along with a tutorial section which was very complete and understandable. Dashboard is well designed and organized. Overall the experience of using the software for the first time was very comfortable. On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend this software to big companies that manage a lot of inventory. I don't feel that the software can handle a lot of data on the inventory management. The limitations that the software has may cause confusion for big companies.

Cons
  • We have had issues with the automatic import of payments from EBizCharge
  • into Acumatica. When we manually import them, they successfully apply to the correct order/invoice, but when we had it on automatic, we would get duplicated payment entries which created more unnecessary work for us having to delete them after.
  • We were told that previously used credit cards on a customer account would not show up if another user wanted to pay for a separate order/invoice, but they do show up. We have a couple of accounts that many, many users pay through and it would be way too hard to create a new account for each user since there are so many that use it. We just wanted the ability to not have the previously used credit cards shown on a new payment, but they are which is super inconvenient for security purposes.
  • We previously had issues with payments not being imported to the correct account but that has gotten better. Not resolved completely, but better. It just creates more work for us having to go into the payment and change it to the correct account and then validate it.

  • Synchronization with the credit card company is weak and very difficult to configure
  • Customer support is a long wait. First 5 min of a call is a machine directing you to a waiting queue. Total waiting time for 1 simple questions was 20 min
  • Allows double entry codes or SKUs
  • Delays in the process of purchase in the customer experience
