Everyware Cloud vs. Fresa Gold

Everyware Could is great for companies working with IoT who are in the early stages or have a very defined use case. If your use case is more abstract and changes rapidly, it may be difficult to support the required changes to your business model. Everyware Cloud is really good at the things it does well, but is not great at adapting.

As we are using Fresa gold for more than 5 years, the support team is very good with proactive responses. As Fresa Team is also from freight forwarding industry, most of the solutions are already available in the software. Fresa blog has answers for most of the questions. All the doubts are cleared then and there because they are arranging daily training sessions (5pm IST).

• Easy of getting started.
• Lots of device management features (location, VPN, remote commands).
• Robust API with multiple methods for extracting data.

• Preparing Booking Confirmation, Sending Invoices to customer
• Attaching Documents on the job for future retrievals
• Generating Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Trial Balance
• Sending outstanding letters to all the customer in single click

• Data query tool has limited options for slicing and dicing.
• Event automation is not intuitive.
• UI is out of date.

• Integration with India customs EDI for CHA operations
• Integration with GST portal of India Government
• Integration with Inttra for carrier operations

AWS IoT was in its very early stages when we first started using Everyware Cloud. While it provides a ton of flexibility, the learning curve to take advantage is much steeper. At this stage AWS IoT may be a better choice for us, but we have no regrets about using Everyware Cloud.

• Customers are getting on-time invoices and outstanding which is very useful to collect the revenue on time.
• Credit Customers are restricted if they have over due - this will be useful to avoid focusing on non-paid customers
• All communications are available in one system with user name and date/time - disputes are recorded for future reference
