Forcepoint Data Security Cloud vs. Netskope CASB

One scenario where Forcepoint ONE is well suited is when my organization wants to protect against data breaches and advanced threats. This solution can help my organization to quickly identify and respond to threats, as well as prevent sensitive data from leaving the organization. A less ideal scenario for Forcepoint ONE would be if an organization is primarily concerned with compliance and regulatory requirements. While Forcepoint ONE can help with some compliance tasks, it is not designed to be a comprehensive compliance solution.

Netskope CASB solution is an easy to use product, providing you and your IT team a great way to monitor, control and manage the traffic. With the product out of the box you can easily close most of the security gaps you can face at the moment... Cloud exfiltration, IA missusing, restricting tenant access...

• One area where Forcepoint ONE could improve is in its user interface. The interface is not particularly user-friendly, and can be confusing for users who are not familiar with it.
• there are some features that are hard to use, or that are missing altogether. For example, there is no way to easily search for files or emails, and the interface for managing users and groups is not particularly intuitive.
• It would be nice if Forcepoint ONE had better integration with other applications and services.

Netskope's CASB can be challenging to deploy. If it is being implemented for the first time and staff do not have prior experience with deployments, then professional services should be utilized. Once configured and deployed, the product provides an easy-to-navigate User Interface and can be managed effectively with training.

There have been some struggles with their infrastructure keeping pace with demand and load. Support can only do so much and has to defer to known problems being escalated.

Ease of use Microsoft Defender was a great product, but it looked like it is too risky to have only one vendor for all our needs. Fortinet has a lot of improvements to make to consider in the enterprise segment.

I find that Netskope CASB provides a larger catalog of SaaS applications and provides additional security controls for each app, allowing granularity to what actions end users can perform on the sites. This goes beyond simple block download/block upload, making it highly effective at enforcing the actions outlined in corporate policies.

• Forcepoint single console and single agent to protect users and data.
• Provides single policy management for all 3 foundational gateways.

• We can see no large percentage of cloud applications that are being used in the enterprise outside of IT knowledge.
• We can now have conversations regarding risk, and consolidation of overlapping applications, reducing risk and expense.
• Allows for IT to assess and mitigate the risk of risky applications or platforms being used and where information may be leaked.
