Foundation Software Construction Accounting vs. Jonas Enterprise Construction Management Software

Does not have employee facing portal where employee can update info. Does not have part to do onboarding, hr, etc. Payroll is wonderful and more efficient. Pulling reports is amazingly easy. Building reports is easy

If you are looking for several features under one roof, this is your place. No need to try to integrate third-party applications for the most part. If you are a construction company with job costing and/or a service department, I can't think of a reason that it would not be appropriate. If you are primarily retail then I think another software would be more appropriate.

It was decent to implement. It's been pretty easy at training others. Really easy to connect to their computers

I think it depends on how much you want to put into it. It is a very powerful program, but sometimes learning everything is overwhelming. There are hidden tricks that you learn when you attend webinars and conferences.

Support is usually pretty great. Most of the time return calls to tickets logged are fairly quick. Most everyone is knowledgeable and helpful

I did not have a hand in deciding the software, but for our company is has not
led to increased productivity or made things easier. It has been more difficult
for payroll to be inputted correctly and the payroll reports for certified
payroll often come out incorrect and we need to manually figure out how to correct
the issues and get them in correctly

I feel Jonas was more equipped to handle multi-state, multi-union payroll as well as multi-jurisdiction sales tax. I wasn't interested in third-party support.
