Genially vs. Procreate

I think it's very well suited for creating collateral for internal team enablement, as well as conceptual external customer education. I also often turn to Genially (rather than Canva) to create quick graphics on the fly. This is not a stand-in for more complex e-learning needs that would require a tool like Articulate.

Procreate is well-suited for any illustrator, whether they're a beginner or an expert. It offers a vast range of features that will allow anyone with an artistic inclination to start creating right away. It's also appropriate for budding designers, artists, and animators. While the animation options offered aren't super premium, it is a good place to start learning about animating in layers, e.g., in Photoshop. Procreate isn't suitable for people who want to illustrate vector-based images. The app currently only supports raster images that can't be scaled up.

It took a minute for me to understand how to use the product. Normally, I can just click around and figure things out. I had more questions on if the interactive element was accessible or not.

The price is the number one difference. Genially is not expensive and the licence has no limitations regarding the number of learners. The ease of use: the interface of Genially is intuitive and does not require a tedious learning. The integration of multiple media is smooth, except for PDFs. The compatibility with various LMS.

We broadly use the Adobe suite for other applications, so as Adobe tools have advanced, it is difficult to have an outlier in the toolkit, but Procreate still offers a lot of ease of use and competes with more formal Illustrator tools. We use Illustrator a lot for general design work once they pass initial concepting.
