Pros
Engaging Quizzes: Reviewers appreciate Genially's ability to generate animated quizzes for corporate training, with multiple-choice and true or false formats that engage learners in a variety of ways. Some users feel that the incorporation of sound effects, transitions, and interactive elements breathes life into otherwise dry materials, captivating learners and enhancing their engagement.
Customization Options: The paid version of Genially offers full customization options to match the brand identity of organizations. Users find this feature advantageous as it allows them to easily digitalize and modify materials without the need for external design teams. This scalability and cost-effectiveness streamline content creation processes for many reviewers.
Interactive Multimedia Functions: Many users praise Genially for its interactive and multimedia functions, which make presentations more engaging and fun than regular slide shows. Reviewers appreciate the ability to add interactivity mechanisms and content layers without programming skills. Incorporating audio and video seamlessly gives users greater projection in their presentations.
We are using Genially to create multimedia self-learning modules. Our modules are distributed in the SCORM format through various LMS to thousands of students. The features that we particularly appreciate are the interactive questions allowing the institutions using our modules to grade their students. The integration of various media: images, sounds, videos and texts is very useful too. The connection to a large database of free images is great too. Recently, we tried some of the AI tools such as summary, translation and image generation. They blend smoothly in the workflow and are convenient.
Pros
Interactive questions
AI content generation
AI summary
Multimedia integration
Cons
Newest version of SCORM export
The possibility to create and manage variables that could be used across a group of modules
PDF integration without using Google Drive

The main use of Genially is the creation of interactive multimedia learning modules: we start from an online linear course consisting of PowerPoint Slides, usually poorly designed, and the audio recording of the lecturer commenting these slides. We reorganise these contents to make a truly interactive experience for the learner, using interactive windows to reveal contents. Interactive questions and branching structures are used to allow learners to navigate through our content according to their own pace.
In general, we use Genially for enablement, both internal (e.g., revenue enablement) and external (customer education). I personally use it to build SCORM files for our customer academy courses that are more concept-based (rather than our software instructional videos).
Pros
Lets you build interactive presentations.
Helps you design good-looking presentations easily.
Lets you easily collaborate with teammates on projects.
Cons
Branching capabilities.
Accessibility compliance.
Light video editing for media embeds (like changing the thumbnail).

I think it's very well suited for creating collateral for internal team enablement, as well as conceptual external customer education. I also often turn to Genially (rather than Canva) to create quick graphics on the fly. This is not a stand-in for more complex e-learning needs that would require a tool like Articulate.
My company purchased Genially, but it didn't meet the need I was trying to address. What I really needed was a tool that could build an assessment with questions grouped into categories and automatically generate a report showing results for each category.
Pros
interactive elements
templates
Cons
more learning opportunities to better use the product
We use Genially for multiple purposes. We use it to create presentations that are interactive and also flyers and infographics. This software is the only one that allows you to add information in a certain way so those reviewing the material need to interact with it. Also, the templates are very nicely crafted.
Pros
Presentations for Conferences and Classes.
Infographics to guide students.
Timetables
Cons
It would be nice to be able to save images and have them available on Genially.
More free templates.
Figure out a way to make editing less time consuming.

Genially is well suited for important presentations and when you want the reader to interact with the document you are creating. The smart blocks are also very useful and well thought out. Genially is not your best tool if you need to put something together fast or if you need to customize a lot because editing could be time-consuming.
It's a web tool we use to create interactive visual content which is used to attract customers and circulate news. It acts as a content interactivity tool and makes it easy and simple to build presentations that are more engaging. We put our creations out for public consumption and generally use Genially to monitor their performance.
Pros
Use of animations and visual effects to bring presentations to life.
Enables adding multiple layers of information to a slide for extra interactivity.
Lets us measure the impact we have made on our audiences.
Cons
We have to consistently save our work to avoid losing it.
The tool is web-based

All the controls needed to make presentations interactive using unique content are accessible easily from the platform's menu, and there is no programming knowledge required to make this work. Genially's support for collaboration enables multiple people to work on the same document for faster completion of a project.
