When our client wants to host email onsite, not in the cloud, our go-to is GFI Systems MailEssentials. You can set up allowed or blocked emails based on many parameters. The quarantine feature is easy to manage. Sometimes it "catches" too many emails. Easy to fix, though! GFI Systems LanGuard is so comprehensive that initial scans take forever to run! But it is so comprehensive that it catches *everything*! Not just viruses, and lack of updates--it catches things in the endpoint's registry. And provides the full information on the endpoint in order to identify and fix it. Thanks, guys for great products!
We use it in our delivery vans. I know exactly where the van is at all times. I like the driving alerts to be able to have conversations with the drivers about being better. I also like that it has maintenance reminds I can send out to the drivers. The monthly fee is competitive. I really like the tracking part, so I can see if any driver is not on the assign route and can discuss why.
The Support zteam for GFI was with us all the way through, and I believe that they had the best support team of all the products that we use and/or tested.
GFI Systems does save us a lot of time and makes it very convenient to manage clients. Remote access usually works well.
For our business GFI Systems is a bit expensive. The total cost is like hiring a full time employee.
It would be nice if the backup function was more robust and better thought out. Until then, we are seeking another service for our client's backup needs.
