GoDaddy Bookkeeping vs. Landscape Management Network (LMN)

Perfect for US market but not transferable to UK market, needs some upgrades for this. Even when set up with a UK address it won't allow changes in tax year end, presuming that tax year starts Jan - Dec. Also shows dollars instead of pounds even though figures were correct with solution.

LMN is best used if you go all in on it, otherwise you'll end having to use several other software to round it out. Making use of budgeting, estimating, timesheet, job costing, invoicing, payment, planning can all be done with this software. If used to it's potential, i can make running a business a seamless and timesaving endeavour.

Loses marks on the tax year only being Jan - Dec and inability to change that to a UK format and choose your year end date.

I already use GoDaddy for a lot of my website clients so tried the bookkeeping out and really liked it! I tried a few others but nothing worth the price difference. I have tried a few other time trackers as I wish I could live track my time vs entering a little a time.

We use both Service Autopilot and Landscape Management Network in tangent with eachother. They work well but, each has pros and cons that are easily eleviated by the other.

• Low monthly cost compared to other accounting software
• Easy to use and learn with
• Gives me the basic numbers I need for book keeping and taxes for a small business

• Helps with project organization, knowing what a job needs and how much, etc.
• Allows us to track every labour hours to know where time is spent. Informs where we need to see improvement
• Makes estimating very quick for anyone. Save time in pricing jobs out so we can shorten sales pipeline.
