Goodwerp (discontinued) vs. Trimble ProjectSight

It is a software platform for any SMB to get seriously organized

I would probably recommend Trimble ProjectSight (Prolog) over Procore, as it is an easier user interface and typically avoids any problems with the users. I would say that it does take some getting used to, but once you are used to it it is pretty easy to use. This would be good for a residential home in construction.

• A wisely simple user-interface
• From project management to team-collaboration
• Great customer support: Whenever I asked for something, within a short time, somebody from Goodwerp was there to assist

• Change orders: great way to send and document official communications to subs and clients.
• Drawings: always good to have drawings and info readily available.

• An embedded way for meeting with clients via teleconference.
• A BOX.com connector so as to easily use the files already stored there.
• Perhaps a library of project templates.

• speed. Some items take a bit long to bring up.

I was a happy customer

Goodwerp combines for example the accounting module and sales-lead nurturing and qualification module which are not present in the other platforms.

I have only used Procore otherwise, and from what I remember Procore does not have as many features in terms of keeping track of CD documents, and organizing RFI's like Trimble does. I think overall Trimble ProjectSight (Prolog) is a better product, and if it was up to me I would pick Trimble ProjectSight (Prolog) over Procore.

• reduces the time of getting from one application to another.
• Better decision making:
• Increased productivity

• Positive: kept jobs running smoothly, awesome tool to track and oversee projects
• Negative: not much really, good tool, just very in-depth with information that is needed to fill in documentation
