Grafana Cloud vs. InetSoft Style Intelligence

Just about any organization with more than one server and more than one cluster as it scales very well. Configuration of the application takes time and finesse to fine tune to where the balance of load time and getting data quickly meets. The plugins add load time but fine tuning for the application to meet demand needs nailed down at implementation

It's great for the accumulation and assimilation of various data formats to be channeled into a single end-point, whether that be a table or a report. It reminds me so much of SPLUNK in that regard. The application is also very easy to use and has been configured in such a way that it is appealing and productive for both novice and expert users. I was able to pick up the basis after a solitary day's training. We've mainly used it to create bespoke dashboards and visuals, thereby allowing for effective report writing. This was a major consideration from Senior Management before the application was purchased. There haven't been any real drawbacks with the software thus far.

• Alerting through many different medium as Slack, Email, Webhook etc
• Beautiful and unlimited number of dashboards to view your metrics and tweak them as you please
• Log aggregation and powerful Logql to filter and view your logs
• Microservices monitoring
• Large number of plugins and data sources to collect your metrics from almost anywhere

• Easy to use with a very user-friendly interface, making onboarding with the tool a lot easier.
• Able to mash up/integrate data from different sources and file types which helps a lot with consolidation.
• Good customer service/support that makes solving problems/issues a lot faster.

• There are some settings which we can't configure from UI (Web Console).
• We've open[ed] up configuration files in command line text editors and manually do the settings e.g. LDAP/SSO configuration.
• In terms of visualization, it's best, but it doesn't support log analysis otherwise it could destroy business of all other visualization tools.

• I think the user interface is in need of an upgrade, as its starting to show it's age a little. It looks like it needs a rehaul in the department.
• Hopefully, the company can grow and then have more frequent interactions with their customers.
• I am slightly wary that support may not have the same proficiency at the very highest level, as my company reaches the expert user level.

It is infinitely flexible. If you can imagine it, Grafana can almost certainly do it. Usability may be in the eye of the beholder however, as there is time needed to curate the experience and get the dashboards customized to how it makes sense to you. I know one thing they are working on are more templates, based on data sources

Grafana blows Nagios out of the water when it comes to customization. The ability to feed almost any data source makes it very versatile and the cost is great.

InetSoft is a more cost-effective option that offers the same functionality, features, and usability. It is a great option, especially for SMEs. It also has top-notch customer service/support which is a key factor in selecting any agency or tool. I recommend using InetSoft especially for small businesses

• Grafana has replaced many higher priced tools
• The integrations are seemless with multiple backends
• Combining graphs and dashboards from multiple data sources is a game changer
