Chose PDFLiner
They are both great tools that allow for easy management and creation of PDF files. One advantage PDFLiner has over Foxit PDF Editor is price. Foxit can be very costly which is the reason we stopped using it at the office. Besides from that, both great products to edit PDF files!
Chose PDFLiner
I selected PDFLiner because it was giving a free trial with all its features while ilovePDF has a free version but with limited features. Secondly, PDFLiner has more template forms which was a useful feature for me while ilovePDF has a limitation to it. Thirdly, I feel that …
Chose PDFLiner
We selected PDFLiner more or less to test it out and our team actually did like it. So we decided instead of starting the whole process for another program to stick with it. We use it for all kinds of tasks and we are pretty satisfied with it. There is always room to improve …

The most useful tool I've ever used. The service is just
what I need. With so many PDF files, we can’t make changes to them without the
assistance of other people. Everything I wanted to do took up to five separate
software tools for me to do. This task is best done with PDFLiner, a top-notch
application. Because of this, I can now utilize them all at the same time in
the same piece of software.

Pros
  • Proposal process. PI makes it easy to create and send proposals to new and existing clients, collect their payment info, and get signature on the engagement letter.
  • Easily identify engagements that will be expiring, so we can begin to assemble a renewal.
  • Communication to and from the client during the proposal process, which keeps everything associated with the proposal together in one place.

  • Modifying, adding visual information, and signing PDF documents all require very little time
  • Immediate conversion of non-PDF files to PDF files
  • Change PDF documents into a form that our customers may fill out so that we can gather their feedback on how we can improve our services
  • Gsuite and other cloud-based tools like PDFLiner can be used to edit and sign PDFs

Cons
  • I would love to see it really support other industries better, like Marketing. There are workarounds for invoicing and set up, but it could be easier.
  • I would love the option to be able to send the client a single proposal with different options and allow them to select which one they want to move forward with. Right now we have to send a proposal for each option.
  • I would love for there to be user permissions where certain users can log in to see the proposals they are associated with without seeing everything.

  • Some issues with the website's mobile version came to my attention.
  • In some cases, PDF files are difficult to read because of their format. The OCR doesn't always do what I want it to.
  • As of this writing, the editor supports working with JPG, PNG, and PDF files. This list may need a few more entries.
