ImportYeti vs. Infor Nexus

This tool proves invaluable in grasping the landscape of market participants and their interactions. It enables us to conduct comprehensive market research, equipping us with the knowledge we need to make informed decisions. While it excels in providing insights into the volume flow within the market, it may fall short when it comes to pricing or the value of trades. Nonetheless, its ability to decipher market players and dynamics remains a strong asset for our business. We can rely on this tool to navigate the market terrain and gain a competitive edge.

It is good in integrating with multiple 3rd party service providers to create a single source of truth. It does not have user friendly GUI that delays in getting the information required by the user. Any new requirements always need investment and time to develop. It allows user to create report template and schedule reports to personal email that help to save time.

• Allows connectivity of EDI with 3rd party forwarder to transmit shipment data and milestones against the shipments
• Choosing the most economical and quickest routing for a purchase order
• Allows integration with SAP, Oracle, external service providers easily to make single source of truth for the operational information

• Wish their was an availability to search by category (ie copper cookware; cutlery etc
• Being able to more easily see who else a supplier manufactures work with as helps you understand quality being produced

• GUI is not as user friendly as it should be, and a training is required
• Filtering of shipments are not easy and intuitive to user, and it is a bit problematic to find details when a limited information is available to search
• Creating new methodology of report template require new development which require investment

ImportYeti is aimed for simplicity and cost effective solution. Many of its competitors provide a wide range of solutions, with a much greater price point. If you need a complete range of solutions, you may consider other options. ImportYeti is great in its scope, for querying the information regarding US imports. Is structured and really easy to use.

It is better in integration with 3rd party service providers and quick turn around time and dedicated error resolution in receiving the data. We had inhouse SME from Infor Nexus team which allows quick development cycle and faster implementation. It allows visibility of milestones which is not available in SAP TM.
