Data storage and provision of reliable backup plan is part of great services provided by this great product. It is the central reporting system that shows storage units and controls the data metrics that runs across our organization. It gives us the basic planning workbase for monitoring data pathways and performance details of our organization.

• ITRS Geneos has many built-in plugins to integrate with other widely used tools like Control-M.
• Apart from being the monitoring tool, it provides different features like capacity planning and log analytics.
• ITRS Geneos' new UI is quick, responsive and user-friendly.

• Failed backup reporting is easily tailored to specific person, group or function
• The TSM console makes a novice admin more productive quickly as it builds the command syntax for you.
• Alerts when a backup system is down or a resource like a storage pool will soon require expansion
• Trend analysis and historical reporting support capital expenditures

• The only problem I really had was the adjustment abilities of the GUI, otherwise it was a great product.

• It would be nice to have an administrator console for Networker and Datadomain the likes of the one in TSM which is so incredibly helpful.

ITRS Geneos support is well managed by its wide variety of options like live chat, query submissions, 24/7 on-call support, self help and of course well-documented details about its features and troubleshooting methods. ITRS Geneos is being used by many big size organizations because it is a stable product with a good pool of knowledge available about it.

Every tool that competes in the market with ITRS Geneos has its own capabilities and shortcomings. For our project, ITRS Geneos stands out since it is a stable product with a long history of serving large organizations with huge number of components to monitor. ITRS Geneos has upgraded itself to a new and better GUI interface and has offered integration with different tools.

This is the most reliable platform that ensures that data is controlled successfully. It has helped our IT department utilize time used to monitor data storage disks manually. The overall cost of maintenance is lower as compared to other backup plans. It has reduced time taken for auditing our databases due to automatic data auditing system installed on this application.

• Less need for close backup system oversight so it frees resources for other tasks
• Found 50 plus tapes that were available scratches
• You can more confidently determine the need for backup resources throng the systems predictive analysis.
