Likelihood to Recommend

Khan Academy

In a college setting, it's great for supplemental help on lower-level subjects or a refresher on high school subjects. I recommend it to my freshmen in "welcome to college" type of course. In K-12, it can serve as supplemental instruction (teachers can create lesson plans for their students) as a good way to differentiate and bring in technology. It can also be great to recommend at home. I believe in its power enough that it could be a primary vehicle for homeschooling through at least 8th grade and maybe into high school.

It helps with online teaching and serves as a means of revision or reinforcing what the children have already been exposed to.

Support Rating

Khan Academy

Khan Academy 9.0
Based on 1 answer
I've only had to seek support one time. There was a glitch in one of my lessons and I submitted an email. The glitch was fixed by support within a few days, but I would've liked for it to be faster. However, I don't have a big complaint there because it is a free service.

Alternatives Considered

Khan Academy

This is nothing similar to Khan Academy that I know of. It's a complete K-12 education, completely for free. It's not only free but high quality and fun, so much so that I have spent quite a lot of my spare time working through different courses for refreshers or that are of interest to me.
