LeonardoMD (Discontinued) vs. Opus EHR

I would not tell my Real Estate client about this but as we know it is called LeonardoMD for a reason. I did a demo on a product a year back that offers way more automated emailing reminders for patients and I think that LeonardoMD would improve if it could offer emails and texts that could auto send reminders to patients for the appointments.

As I said before, I couldn't see a lot of the features being good for someone who just runs their own single private practice (just themselves). The biggest feature for me is the ability to "oversee" all documentation as it's completed, and to be able to make sure we are "covered" in every area that documentation serves

• Tracking the Patients interactions with the Practice
• Billing
• Reports on the Staff Utilizing the software

• Ease of Use
• Costs are obvious and transparent
• Expanded Features not included in most EHR
• Artificial Intelligence tools speed up clinical documentation
• Organization for Directors/Supervisors
• A "fair" contract (no scary, hidden stipulations

• Internal Email System
• Variety of Reports
• Availability for editing the user fields for a more personalized experience.

• Their initial walk through/demo - It's overwhelming
• Not everyone will know how to use it right away like other larger EHR's. There is a small learning curve
• Not great for single therapists, best for small-medium-medium large facilities

It does exactly what the medical practice I was working with needed.

I normally would use Leonardo with ACT now Sage I think. The reason for the 2 used together is the lack of email automated systems that Leo did not have. I am not sure if they have it now. But it is nice to have detailed notes and user fields that can be edited like Sage (ACT) allows. It was also nice to have the counselor able send emails and the ACT software keep track of the email in the history section

I just felt it was a good balance of being "down to earth" but extremely capable. It seemed like a product designed from the ground up, from people who have actually dealt with the challenges of using technology within a facility, rather than from a computer expert who tried to learn about our application and apply typical solutions that don't work as well as they thought

• Quality outcomes measurement for insurance rate increases
• Therapists that are great with clients, are also now great with documentation (AI tool)
• I don't have to "hunt" through documentation to make sure everything is completed on time.
• I don't have to explain a bunch of hidden costs to our executive team.
