Logility vs. Yardi Senior Living

How well the system is going to match with the company's business.

Any senior living/retirement home would likely benefit by using Yardi Senior Living suite. The fact that it handles the needs of almost the entire business makes it a very convenient platform for operating retirement residences.

• Can go down to the very detailed level to manage forecast.
• Easy to maintain and control .
• User friendly.

• Accounting.
• Billing.
• Electronic health records.

• Product profile for different seasons without adding another module.
• Eliminate manual work.

• Yardi does have a tendency to release new features a bit early. I understand the drive to deliver what customers are asking for, but in some cases, further testing before release would be beneficial.
• Yardi used to allow clients to have access to a remote desktop, which came in very handy to maintain the environment and develop new reports. They replaced this with web based tools that don't work as well.
• Yardi does not handle any time sheet or payroll functions. It's the main shortcoming for our needs. As a result we have leveraged other software for this.

Need more time to prove that the system really helps the company.

Yardi Senior Living support is good for the most part. They respond to most issues quickly, but sometimes problems can drag out.

I didn't make the decision to select Logility.

I haven't used it PointClickCare directly, but I'm told by others in the industry that it's more suited to Long Term Care. Yardi Senior Living works better for retirement residences with assisted and independent living.

• Improved inventory control.
• Save time by reducing the manual work.

• Yardi license costs are reasonable for the functionality of the software.
• There can be a steep learning curve for many Yardi products.
• Upgrades tend to generate a lot of end user issues despite extensive testing.
