Mitratech HotDocs vs. PDFLiner

It is well suited in the organisations which deals with lots of paper work like legal, teaching, research, etc as they need similar kind of documents again and again. In a typical office set up it is of great use by human resource, marketing and legal department. Hot docs is not suitable if you have a proprietary or solo business as it do not caters to them.

It's possible to save money, time, and paper with PDFLiner. In addition to
those in the legal and scientific sectors, this includes those in accounting,
human resources, and education. PDFLiner makes it simple to save your most
frequently used templates. Upload them whenever you need them, make any
necessary edits, and email them straight away!

• Personalized training. We were able to get an expert on a video call who walked us through solutions to each of our unique problems (i.e. all fifty states have different notary blocks, how can we auto-populate it when the state of the deal is selected?).
• Team access. Multiple people can work with the templates at once, thus allowing the members of our team who deal with financials to work on their documents while others focus on the organizational and legal documents.
• Once you have successfully drafted your templates, it runs incredibly smooth (barring any minor hiccups that happen with software updates) and efficiently.

• Signing documents for myself and my employer has never been easier.
• For me, the simplicity of not having to use sophisticated tools to customize forms for certain situations is appealing.
• It's easy to use and doesn't necessitate a strong Internet connection to make use of this program.

• Most HotDocs templates demand high-level code. This includes complicated Word codes
• Using HotDocs is incredibly user-friendly. Creating and maintaining templates is a programming task

• There is no mobile app for PDFLiner which I think is a major drawback of this tool.
• Though the tool is straightforward we find it complex when we need to search for a specific form in it.
• Editing text is fine with this tool but I think there is a limitation of styling the text when editing any document.

If I cannot get tech support (especially at the supervisory level) during my work hours, then what good is their program?

Our department uses PDFLiner to modify PDF format contracts and other documents before sending them to our consumers for e-signing. Not only that, but this program allows access to the templates of over 30 million different sorts of writable agreements, saving us a lot of time and effort.

The support is fine, but make no mistake it is PAID support because you have to purchase it each year in order to keep the updates.

I haven't evaluated other products. We are so used to HotDocs that it would be difficult for us to switch to something else. We continue to use HotDocs because switching cost is high once you have already started. Be careful before beginning to use this program, as it is hard to breakaway.

Everyone in my department uses PDFLiner. Everything we need
to get the work done is included in this team strategy. Allows us to streamline
our operations and ensure that everyone is using the same tools. If I had to
make a choice, I would go with this over more "advanced" options.

• Positive - Quicker turn around on producing standard documents tailored to the client's specific needs.
• Negative - Long learning curve. Not an "out of the box" program. It has to be customized.

• Your PDFs can be changed quickly and easily. You have the option to include signatures and images, as well as to censor any information you don't want others to see.
• By being able to digitally sign your paperwork on the go, you may significantly speed up the closing process.
• Using PDFLiner is a great and simple way to work with PDF files.
