IP360 from Tripwire is a vulnerability management solution; the technology was acquired with nCircle in 2013 and based on the nCircle 360 Suite product. Tripewire is a HelpSystems product line since the February 2022 acquisition.
In order to have a clean work area and operating system, it is essential to have the reinforcement of a program that is effective in eliminating each of the threats that constantly appear in each of the projects. I find the Tripwire IP360 reporting features extraordinary. I can run various audit and inventory reports at any point since the inception of the tool. For example, I can execute a report on the history of an asset, which establishes a baseline and can be used to support many security objectives.
Scan scheduling. This feature allows the tool to run independently without human intervention. I don’t have time to manually run scans of different departments. Therefore, I schedule all my audits and check the report the next day. This has worked brilliantly for 3 years now.
Automated update of the vulnerability rules. Automatically updating these rules and binding them to the scans preserves the tool relevancy during audits

I would like to see the program run a bit faster, there are times when it takes a few minutes to detect and issue my current state.
We have co-workers who want to admire and try the program before taking the initiative to pay for its service, it is unfortunate that this program does not have a free version or a preview to each of its functions.

Morphisec won out in our search for strong protection against ransomware and zero-day attacks by offering a unique approach to preventing them, to begin with. There were some additional offerings that did some things very well themselves, but in the end, it came down to a few things Morphisec seemed to be the best in our research at least. Those things included how it specifically protected against ransomware and zero-day attacks, the small footprint it needs to run, and it's ability to just slot into our environment and allow us the flexibility to continue using our current XDR and NextGenAV platforms as well.

One of the biggest and best features that this program implemented in my work area is the efficiency and security of trusting to be the main user to carry out the most important jobs in my company.

The biggest impact Tripwire has had in the organization is risk reduction. Since the inception of the tool our vulnerabilities have been reduced by 40%.
