Movavi Video Editor Plus vs. VEED.IO

This is a great tool for someone who needs to create basic videos easily and does not have the skill set of a videographer for example. I don't think this tool is right for someone who creates videos for a living. But maybe there are parts of the tool I just haven't explored

VEED is a very simple and effective platform to create podcast videos and short video clips for social media marketing and educational purposes. If you only have audio files that you want to share on social media, you can transform these audio files into video files that can be shared on social media. You can embed the caption into the video and insert a progress bar which makes the video produced high quality and very user-friendly to consume. We use VEED to give a taster to our clients and we build a library of snackable videos.

• Lag when trying to edit large files
• Saving the edited video takes too much space

I never had to do any kind of training or anything. I was able to just figure out how to use it myself. The learning curve was very low which was something I was looking for in a tool

I originally chose Veed over Descript for its easy interface. However, I am switching back to Descript because in my opinion the product is less glitchy and comes with better support and features.

• Client engagement has upped by almost 7% after using movavi video editor
• We've had some trouble while incorporating updated color scheme at times
• Client retention has had a positive effect to the tune of 4.3%
