MSB Docs vs. SAP Document and Reporting Compliance

Keeps documents highly organized and easy to find. It makes it easy for individuals to sign on the go. Workflow/Document templates save a lot of time. It is honestly tough to think of anything to mention here. I am a happy MSB user and satisfied with the services.

Well-suited for a single SAP landscape. less well-suited for businesses with a more diverse landscape, or complex/non-standard reporting or e-invoicing needs.

• Audit trail report is a plus
• Bulk signing process is easy

• Manages document compliance in a number of regional locations.
• Fairly straightforward to configure.
• Short implementation timeline - supports urgent governance compliance requirements.

• Not much to dislike in this product.

• Level of detail for reporting between what the statuatory body expects vs what SAP Document and Reporting Compliance provides is different
• Reliance to integrate through other third party vendors

We are not planning on moving away from SAP Document and Reporting Compliance but rather expanding it for other territories.

I gave SAP Document and Reporting Compliance this usability rating because, in my opinion, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance is a State of the art compliance solution and works well in the SAP ecosystem

Support at times is slow in finding the right component or processor but once you get the right person you can get help pretty quickly with resolutions. Support will not be there for any customization you may have done/had to do on the product.

Implementation for reporting in general is quite straightforward. Implementation for e-invoicing definitely for new territories is more difficult especially in cases of integration required.

Coverage is similar: integration for e-invoicing is simpler for DRC, Edicom, and Pagero, which more fully manage tax authority integration, which is vital for ongoing compliance.
