OpenText Operations Orchestration vs. SysCloud

The products are being paired by the company with different software to specifically fit multiple scenarios. As a standalone platform, it can answer any task with its build-in content or the ability to create your own content and solution.

SysCloud does a good job of performing cloud-based backups of cloud platforms such as Google Workspace.

• Seamless integration with our billing system
• Has the ability to house all member/client account information in one single location

• Quickly performs backups in the cloud.
• Quickly restores data.

• The product build in portal need to be more flexible

• Pricing for school districts.
• A la carte licensing/pricing.
• More user friendly interface.

Most product works well enough, but none of them combine the non-agent/client approach to automation with an easy to develop mechanism (the drag&drop development approach) This alone put this solution on top of our preferred implantation product list

The district will be transitioning to Datto Backupify. Datto Backupify is more financially suitable to the needs of the district. Additionally, some of the features in SysCloud are available within the Google Workspace Admin Console.

• SysCloud was costly and we were unable to continue the service.
• SysCloud performed well and met the needs of the district.
